YOOOOO…Hardcore Band STILL BROKEN Get All RATM/RHCP On Dope New EP [Indonesia]

Indonesian hardcore band STILL BROKEN is influenced by bands like Snapcase, Mizery, and Turnstile (Editor’s Note: We’d add German band SLOPE as well), yet carry their own take on the sound with a touch of funky-groovy guitar riffs like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and energetic vocals with a rapid-fury characteristic akin to Beastie Boys and Rage Against The Machine.

The band has just released a brand new EP entitled ‘The Law of Nature’ consisting of 5 songs inspired by bands like RATM. Each song carries its own unique backstory with the main highlight on the five individuals fighting against the 9/5 routine and not attracted to follow the norms that apply in society. Refused to be controlled by the system, and sticking to their own way of fun is how they write most of their lyrics. Tracks like “Bye,” “Threat-mill,” and “Double Standard” all share the same energy with fast-paced heavy instruments and aggressive vocals. Meanwhile, they have tracks like “10/10” and “Judiciary,” which are more on the less aggressive side of the EP, offering a less heavy and groovy vibe with an alternative feel.
