It Should Be Illegal For A Band To Be This Good. BLEACH Release Debut Album [Indonesia]

Yeah we said it.

Indonesian hardcore band BLEACH have just dropped their debut album and it has left feeling all sorts of unease at just how good a band can be. Like how is this record even possible? HOW?!

Bursting onto the scene with their demo back in 2020, the band has finally unleashed an album FULL of bangers entitled ‘State of Grace’. The record’s coming out on Disaster Records and Oblivion Records.

“State of Grace is a manifesto of personal emotions of the last three years,” states the band. “We started writing the lyrics during the COVID isolation days and kept writing until we returned to normal life. All the songs are stories documenting our ups and downs in life. Simply put, we wanted to share what we have been through these last three years. From the gloomy to the happy, we write it up as universal as possible, so that people out there can be related to it,” said Michael Sippan, the vocalist.

The full record stays consistent to what the band has always been about since day one – a heavy metal influenced-hardcore hybrid of sorts mixed with exceptional grunge/alternative rock elements. “We didn’t really veer away from our previous releases. This time we just included more sampling.”

Don’t sleep on this band and this release…if you’re a fan of anything from Higher Power to Leeway to Drug Church to Turnstile then you’re going to be all about this. If the band was from the US – they’d be the next big thing.
