A long time coming for Indonesian hardcore bands Zip and straight edge hardcore band No Excuse who were meant to hit the road together before the world collapsed at the hands of COVID. According to Zip’s guitarist Indra, “Zip and No Excuse were going to hit the road together at the beginning of the pandemic and we were finally able to do it. Since most of us have families and jobs, our plan is to do a couple of weekend out-of-town shows, come home, and then head back out. We’re hoping to keep this up for the next few months. Let’s hope this damn virus doesn’t mess up our plans. On the first leg of our weekend tour, we went to Semarang and Salatiga. We were so surprised how people went off during our set and how many people turned up at the shows (both shows were sold out)”.
Both bands fucking rule and Zip just released their debut EP which SLAPS. Go blast that shit below and stay up to date on both band’s social media.
