You may be surprised that a well-established act better known as PIET ONTHEL is releasing what they call their “debut” EP only now, but the mastermind behind the band has an explanation that clears everything up:
“Well the band started as my solo project back in 2018. In the past 5 years I have released a couple of EP’s, splits, compilations and even a full length but all of that was before I decided to turn this into a full band when I first decided to bring the music out on stage. Since then, we have a full lineup now and this is the first EP that the full band recorded.”
Thanks for helping us understand all that! The new EP is entitled ‘a reverse farewell’ that contains 8 songs. The band states that the songs are about dissatisfaction in life and stories of tiring tragedies in the journey of a human being.
The EP is being released on cassette by Utarid Tapes (legendary Malaysian screamo label), RVDA Records & Warmroom Records and on 10″ lathe vinyl by No Funeral Records (Canada), followed by 3″ CDr by FriendlyOtter (USA).
