It’s 2019, bands that feature transgender and/or queer members should be supported and encouraged with all your hearts. We need more diversity in punk rock and hardcore, once the forefront of anything progressive, to keep pushing us forward by opening our hearts and minds.
Malaysian bands like TingTongKetz, Shh…Diam, are incredibly important. Their presence is incredibly important. The fact that there are safe spaces for these bands to perform in Malaysia is INCREDIBLY important.
Keep supporting our fellow humans. That’s all we ask. We can only understand each other’s journeys through communication and understanding, not judgement.
