Two long-running punk rock bands from Japan and Korea came together in Japan last weekend to mark the release of their new split EP with a pair of shows in Osaka and Kobe. THE SKIPPERS (Osaka, Japan) have been playing for over 20 years, and …WHATEVER THAT MEANS (Seoul, Korea) are about to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
The short EP features two songs from each band. The songs run together to make a great listen overall while highlighting each band’s different styles and influences.
Physical copies of the CD are available directly from the bands and on the WDI website. The Skippers will be visiting Korea on January 19th and 20th for another pair of shows with …Whatever That Means to finish out the official release of the album.
