Post-Punk DEATH • BECOMES • HER Release Single Sanctuary of a Love Cult [Malaysia]

After premiering the single on United Kingdom earlier this week, DEATH • BECOMES • HER has now unleashed their debut single to the masses on Bandcamp. The track is now available for streaming and digital download starting from today, Friday the 13th September 2019.

The track entitled “Sanctuary of a Love Cult” is a 4 minutes radio edit version and is part of promotional number of singles that has been scheduled to release in future in order to pave way and promote the full length album that should be release by year’s end.

“We wrote this song about 20 years ago. It was written in 1998 to be exact but never find its way for a proper release until today. Probably because we’ve been on hiatus for almost 14 years. But today it’s finally come to live and we’re happy that everyone can now listen to this and enjoy this as much as we did while writing it 20 years back,” said the band.

Band’s frontman, Tun Farul Azri quoted as saying, “Some instrumentations was recorded way back on early years of 2k. I kept all of those recorded files. It was all home based recording and very raw and DIY. No fancy equipment was used. Not ever a proper audio board or interface except of pure heart and determination to get us to sound nearly as good as those bands who’ve influenced us. Today, local and international radio stations is giving us airplay. I guess we’re doing okay.”

“Sanctuary of a Love Cult” is now on receiving airplays at Malaysia local radio station, BFM Radio on 89.9fm frequency beside Nightbreed Radio in the UK. As Bandcamp is served to be the first platform for the debut release, the track will later be fully available on all major streaming and download platform worldwide including iTunes, Spotify and French’s Deezer from September 23rd onwards. It will also be released on Asia’s home platforms including Japan’s AWA, India’s JioSaavn, China’s Kanjian, Net Ease Music & Tencent, Korea’s Vibe, Melon & Bugs under YG Entertainment and Anghami for Middle East listeners.

“As for now.. Sit back, enjoy the ride and welcome to sanctuary..”
