Post Hardcore Act Somniumsaic Release Music Video For Track About Mental Health [Indonesia]

Indonesian post hardcore band Somniumsaic have released a brand new single entitled ‘The Way It Ends’. The track is inspired by a band member’s own experience dealing with mental health issues including surviving a breakdown.

The video itself showcases the journey of the female protagonist as she handles abandonment and depression.

The band states, “The theme of mental health is very important to young people in the last 5 years. In general, mental health is a person’s ability to manage his/her psychological condition. Many factors cause a person to experience a mental breakdown, such as divorced parents, being abandoned by loved ones and failing to achieve what is expected. This song tells us to care more about mental health, which is often overlooked as we focus only on physical health. “Just keep your light and shine for anyone who needs it” are the last words of this song that motivate us to keep fighting for life and be useful to others. In our opinion, this can be one way to get out of the shackles of this mental breakdown.”
