NYC based Nepalese grindcore band Chepang release music video

NYC based Nepalese grindcore band Chepang release music video.

“Second song premiere of Chepang‘s “Choila” from their upcoming full length debut, “Dadhelo – A Tale of Wildfire” due November 2017 from Nerve Altar (US) Holy Goat (GER).

“Choila” in Nepal means smoked meat and it is about all the smoked and burned flesh of dead migrant workers from Nepal in Qatar building the stadiums for FIFA World Cup 2022. Reports suggest that more than 800 death was recorded during 2012 alone due to bad working conditions, housing and etc. This has been an ongoing controversy and Amnesty reveals the politics behind all the migrant workers not only dead but also working who cannot leave and have not been paid for months and years. “For a migrant worker, the prospect of being tied to one employer for up to five years, unable to change employer to secure better conditions or escape poor treatment or abuse, is not greatly different from their current position and will not significantly reduce the risk of coercion of workers by their employers,”
