Indonesian Hardcore Band Fingerprint Announce New Album and New Signing

Word’s out that our dudes in Indonesian hardcore monsters Fingerprint out of Medan, Indonesian were in the studio to drop a brand new album in 2021! We hit ’em up for some background info and the band was QUICK to drop the following deets.

“Yeah man, this is our third full-length album which will include 11 songs. It’s actually taken us 3 years to put this together from songwriting to jamming and then recording it this past year.”

We couldn’t help but notice that the label releasing the record wasn’t from Medan – but our killer dudes in Lawless Records outta Jakarta. “After the whole recording process was done, David wanted to reach out to any labels to see if anyone would be interested. We had our fingers crossed and we were stoked when both Lawless Records and Disaster Records both responded with interest. So after a whole bunch of meetings and conversations, we were able to come to an agreement with both of them. Our third full length will come out on CD format under Lawless Jakarta Records and on cassette format under Disaster Records.”

Lawless was kind enough to add, “My own band Seringai have played with these veterans of our Indonesian hardcore scene several times in the past. They are such a force live that you’d never want to miss a show. These guys continue on top of their game!”

In terms of artwork, “It’s not ready yet – but we’re working with Angga Reza Adhitya. He has some brilliant ideas and concepts for the cover art. We love all of his artwork.”

Until they debut a track off of this album, go peep their old jams below.
