DEMO ALERT: New Band POWER OF REASON Drop Fiery Debut Demo [Philippines]

Check out brand new hardcore band POWER OF REASON on their sick debut demo.

“The songs are about war, the desire to fight the good fight, and the roots of our oppression/suffering. The lyrics came out as futuristic during the final days of our writing process. Lyrically, I took influence from Cyberpunk 2077, and this little idea I once had for a comic about former bandits/antiheroes seeking revenge against “the man” but during the process they ended up joining the resistance,” states vocalist Randolph. The band hone in their love for bands like Seed of Pain, Integrity, Mindsnare and Ringworm. “Apart from generally bonding over it, we lean more to this brand of Clevo style hardcore as we don’t see too many newer bands doing it over here, especially in the way that bands like Seed of Pain and Live it Down incorporate the sound.”

Randolph’s own label LOVERS LEAP RECORDS is handling the release duties. The label isn’t necessarily known for hardcore but they’re heading back on the right path. The label even recently handled the brilliant release for LIMBS.

[Editor’s Note: If we ever saw this band live, all of you would die in the pit when the band drops the last breakdown in the song ‘Year One’. You’ve been warned.]
