Thai Rockabilly Legends TRIX ‘O’ TREAT Are Back With New Music [Thailand]

Long-time Bangkok rockabilly greats Trix ‘O’ Treat has just dropped their cool new single “บ้านเรา (Our House).” It’s their first new single since 2018.

The founders of Thai rockabilly known as rak-a-billy, vocalist Tukta and double-bassist Mr. Vans rose from the ashes of ska band Skaberry and punk band Bangkok Alcohol respectively to form Trix ‘O’ Treat, performing classics, mashups, and originals with a yelping energy for over a decade that leaves audiences breathless!

The song is a sweet country stroll, featuring yodeling vocals from singer Tukta, reminiscent of female rockabilly pioneer Wanda Jackson.

Hear the song proper at the band’s first show ever at Bangkok venue Speakerbox for the “Sunday Sockhop” on Sunday, October 1. The event will feature live music, rockabilly vinyl DJing, and a screening of the 1950s film “Rock, Rock, Rock!”
