Trancemigrate is a five-piece progressive metal band formed in the summer of 2007 in the low, rolling Karbi Anglong hills of Assam. A melding of numerous personality quirks, musical influences, and approaches to life, Trancemigrate are a bunch of self-taught DIY musicians who have a propensity for melody, groove, and overall coolness. Trancemigrate has endured numerous name and lineup changes to get to where it is now.
“We’ve played only fewer gigs since we opened for ‘As I lay Dying’ in their 2020 Indian tour January this year. We have released two official singles ’Null’ (2019) and ‘Digimorph’ (2020) taken from an upcoming full-length album expected to release the fall of this year.
Our new EP titled, ‘Re-Migrate’ is a collection of old material. As the title of the EP suggests, it is a look at the past and forging a continuum with the present and the future. In a disease-stricken 2020, this EP is a beacon of reminder urging people to internalize, transform and re-connect.’
Yo…wish this was sent to us last year! Check out this killer all-female international compilation of females killing it across the planet in genres under the “hardcore” or “metal”...
