All Hardcore Scenes Have To Start Somewhere – Nepali Hardcore Act STRANGLE Drop Live Vid

Anyone anywhere on this planet who may not be from the main hardcore “capitals” of the world – you know, the ones where all the mass “hardcore”-related media/labels reside and thus the bands from those particular scenes get massive attention and thus get huge VERY quick – know how hard and maybe at times thankless it is to try your ass off to create your own scene. Nepal is one of those scenes where it’s small, intimate, FULL of passion, and actually, pretty damn ready to pop if only the world would pay more attention.

Today, one of those on the ground hardcore warrior bands from Nepal, STRANGLE, have dropped this super cool intimate house show. The band explained, “The show happened in a city called Lalitpur in Jamsthan with about 25 people in a small room. The show included us, Total Menace, and Vhusiya who are a couple of new bands in the scene. It was a small show where everyone who came got to meet other new faces and even enjoyed a BBQ afterwards.”

Mad respect to scenes and bands around the world who are from lesser known regions, and lesser known communities, and are STILL doing their best for the music/culture they love. We see you.
