Pop Punk band Crushing Grief Release New Single [Indonesia]

Crushing Grief, pop-punk unit from Indonesia, just released a new single ‘Lithium’ on April 28. It’s a follow up to their 2019 debut EP, and a fresh track in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.

“The song still stand under the flag of ‘Heavy Pop Punk’, which the band use to describe their sound that incorporating amalgamation of melodic pop punk vibes and hardcore-metal-ish riffs. Lyrically, the band addressed the topic of the good and bad of being in a relationship with ‘love’ serves as a cure to it, analogized with having a bipolar disorder, and ‘lithium’ serves as the medical treatment. The music itself is catchy, melodic, and emotional at the same time with some hints of easycore influences thrown here and there. Not to forget the use of synth parts from Ahmad Ticket For Famous (Kendari) fame.”

FFO: Four Year Strong, State Champs, and even Pee Wee Gaksins.
