DEMO ALERT: Raw Hardcore Act CLUE Drop Debut Demo [Indonesia]

CLUE is a hardcore punk project from Indonesia, born out of a reunion of old friends. Formed by Galang and Ikbal a.k.a. Ibung in late 2025, CLUE has officially released their self-titled demo EP through the DIY independent label TRUELINE RECORDS.

Carrying a raw hardcore punk sound with a touch of youth crew influence, CLUE draws inspiration from bands like Freedom, BIB, SPY, and Gorilla Biscuits. The current lineup consists of Ibung (vocals), Galang (guitar), Wilhan (bass), and Ari (drums). Their lyrics explore themes of real-life struggles, friendship, hope, and an anti-war stance.

CLUE’s self-titled demo was produced with a strong DIY spirit, making use of whatever resources they had available. It was mixed and produced by Galang, the guitarist, using basic soundcard equipment and a simple microphone.
