Metal/hardcore band MONOPOLIST have released a music video for a new single entitled ‘Anguished’.
The band states, “Drawing inspiration from metalcore giants Alpha Wolf, Thrown, and Knocked Loose, the track delves deep into themes of pain and suffering, amplified by guttural vocals and relentless instrumentals. What sets “Anguished” apart is its paradoxical music video, featuring bright, spacey landscapes that starkly contrast the heavy, angst-ridden soundtrack. The video’s sun-drenched scenes create a compelling contradiction, reinforcing the song’s message that “everything comes to an end, eventually.”
