Melodic Punk Band IMAN’S LEAGUE Re-release 2018 Ripper Track ‘Gerhana’ [Singapore]

Singaporean melodic punk band IMAN’S LEAGUE has re-released their track ‘Gerhana’ which was originally featured on their 2018 EP ‘The Eclipse’. Despite favourable reception from fans, the band was unhappy with the final product. During a recent tour in Korea, Iman’s League met with Jeff Moses of Seoul based punk label World Domination,Inc (WDI)/ Binary Studios and the idea to remix and remaster the EP was born.”Gerhana” was originally the third track from “The Eclipse” EP.

“We’ve always feel that we could have done better with “The Eclipse” but we don’t have the resources or the mindset to do the whole EP again. So we choose “Gerhana” because it’s really one of the stand out tracks in the EP,” states frontman/guitarist Iman.

Bassist Ishyam adds, “The band hopes to launch back Iman’s League into the hearts and minds of everyone and we are doing by making music in the language of the region so that we can reach out to as many people as we can.”

“‘Gerhana’, or Eclipse in English, is about finding the meaning of happiness and tranquility in our lives. Gerhana signifies a period of change & transformation. As a band we’ve definitely changed our mindset or our work ethic but our ethos remains Punk Rock. That will never change,” wraps up drummer Bat.
