Zero Four Hero, Hong Kong-based Filipino singer/songwriter has released an acoustic version of a song he wrote way back 2009 for his band, The Ambassadors (Cebu-based Punk band), entitled Rescue The World.
He states, “Since this current situation about the pandemic, causing panic around the world, my friend DarylPipebomb and I decided to do a stripped-down version of the song and created some kind of a DIY-quarantined-style-music-video to promote peace, unity, and positivity. Hope you guys could spread the message.”
DarylePipebomb added:
“Because through music we can live forever! This is our attempt trying to rescue the world through peace and love! checkout Zero Four Hero ‘s Rescue The World and I got lucky to be a part of this!
I would like to say thanks to the following people who collaborated with us. Simon Nuñez for the input, Zero Four Hero Bai for doing this, and last but not the least, my family Richelle Ablen for having the patience to put up with me for the last couple of days when I was doing this record. Man, those hours were so long just to complete this while she, on the other hand, looking after the kids. You could imagine how it was and honestly, you don’t wanna know
Oh, also this is not the last. We will continue to keep doing this not just for likes, views, nor money, I don’t really care. This is what we love, and we will continue to do what we love. Keep supporting us if you like us by just appreciating what we do. Once again, thank you!”
