Vietnamese Hard Hitters DISTRICT 105 Return With New Single [Vietnam]

Vietnamese beatdown/hardcore metal band DISTRICT 105 just don’t know how to fuck around. Everything they drop is serious shit that tackles serious shit. Check out their brand new track ‘Sad Melody’ below.

“The main idea of this track is about an individual called The Hollow Man. The Hollow Man represents the insecurity in each of us, the need to feel needed, the need to be socialized, and the need to feel like we belong somewhere. He builds a house, a safe place then invites people he deems trustworthy into his home with the hope that together they can make that place a true haven.

But gradually people with different goals make a mess in his home. They become selfish, tear it down and ruin everything he worked so hard to build. The Hollow Man is devastated but in the end, when standing in the middle of all the chaos left behind by those people, he realizes that maybe it’s not so bad being alone at all and perhaps he needs to be selfish to save himself. The original inspiration for the track comes from the band’s vocalist. Both he and his team have struggled to build the hardcore scene from scratch in Vietnam. This story and concept will continue in a future District105 EP.”
