This is a SICK Collab – Nepal Doing It Right – AMAZUMI X ENVELOPES [Nepal]

Multi-disciplinary Nepalese Yakthung Artist AMAZUMI joined forces from Belgium/UK with metal core band ENVELOPES in Nepal last year on her first Nepal tour. The collaboration began with Envelopes’ guitarist and arranger Aneesh first remixing a Dj Bki Cool track called ‘Mayhem’ that featured her and another Nepalese rapper called Dayjen.

After falling in love with the new metal version hit close to home, AMAZUMI decided to take this further and tour with the band upgrade her HipHop set with exciting new soundscapes that not only garnered more HipHop fans but inducted AMAZUMI into the metal community. They rounded up the tour last year with a live studio session at Studio 5150, which is also home to one of Nepal’s metal greats The Underside.

Creative Violence and Mayhem are only two of the new renditions that they have released recently.

They have one more from the series to be released next Friday as they prepare for another nationwide tour with Nu-metal pioneers of Nepal – Tumbleweed Inc. in 2024.

Envelopes is an exciting young metal core band from Kathmandu who have been crafting their unique sound and creating their own scene. The band consists of Aaron (vocals), Aneesh (guitar), Pranish (bass) and Aseas (drums).
