Shoegaze Band Sunlotus Release Lyric Video for ‘Sunroof Shelter’ [Indonesia]

Indonesian shoegaze band Sunlotus have released a lyric video for the track ‘Sunroof Shelter (This Old House)’ off their 2019 full length ‘This Old House’ (streaming belo0w).

“There are conditions in the midst of modern life that make us—humans—even far from being better. Sunlotus emerged as a result of the anxiety of changes in society and also the desire of making soundscape ambient. While we trapped in such conditions, Sunlotus captures the complexity of the problems in it. This single tries to capture this issue. It’s interesting to see how memory works to ignite anxiety as to how people grow seeing things change around them compared to when they were in childhood. Feels alienated among spaces that growing rapidly.”
