Phenomenal post hardcore BRICKCITY [Philippines] have released their second full length ‘We The Forgettables’.
“This marked a significant return for us, having spent the previous year touring exclusively outside Quezon City alongside TNG. The journey to complete this album was a long one, stretching nearly seven years, including the pandemic shutdown. Most of the instrumentals were composed and recorded before the pandemic at the now-shuttered Glasstone Studios. To breathe fresh life into our old work, we enlisted Emil dela Rosa for his expertise in production, mixing, and mastering. The vocal tracks were laid down at Hannah Jabla’s studio, “This Is Where I Make Music”. Culminating the extensive production process of “We the Forgettables”; once the lockdown restrictions began to ease.
This album represents a deliberate shift towards a more positive energy, diverging from the tone of our previous work. Each track has been carefully crafted to reflect our current outlook in life—a perspective that has evolved significantly over the years. It is our sincere hope that “We the Forgettables” will find a special place in the hearts of our listeners, providing them with positive energy, moments of joy, and an escape into songs that invite them to dance and sing along.”
