Hardcore Band BROKEN SHAFT Drop Debut Album ‘Still Alive’ [China]

Hardcore band BROKEN SHAFT relocated from Northwest China to the fertile grounds of Guangzhou in Southern China, and since then have revamped their lineup by adding members from the Guangzhou scene itself. With a solid lineup now, the band has just released their debut album entitled ‘Still Alive’.

“We are so proud to have become part of the GZHC (Guangzhou Hardcore) community. Since relocating we were able to rearrange, produce, and record all the tracks on this record. Most of the lyrics on this album are about our own response to bad behaviors such as lies, conceit, arrogance, deception, etc., and emphasizes clearer self-awareness. It calls on everyone to pay more attention to and respect individual feelings and labor results, oppose emotional blackmail and moral kidnapping, and clearly reject and fight back against all kinds of bad behaviors that attempt to infringe on one‘s own interests. we hope everyone can respond and think bravely and actively.”
