Thailand has a brand new metalcore act NIRVROT that y’all gotta check out – especially cause it has some Thai hardcore kids in the mix.

“We grew up listening to bands like Killing Me Softly, Suicide Silence, and As Blood Runs Black — artists who had a major influence on us and inspired our journey into the underground music scene. That’s why we decided to create music in the style of old-school metalcore from the 2000s, to bring back the nostalgic vibe of our childhood. Our songs explore Buddhist themes, focusing on the cycle of death and rebirth (samsara) and the realization of life’s impermanence.”
