Alt Rock Act Restate The Moira Return With New Music Video ‘Poison’ [Hong Kong]

Hong Kong-based alt rock act Restate the Moira manage to always keep themselves busy. The band has just returned with a brand new music video for an old track entitled ‘Poison (It’s Time To Say Goodbye).

“This is an old song of ours that has gone through a lot of changes over the years. Some people may have heard this before at our shows but we were never happy enough with it to release it. A fun fact is that this was originally in Cantonese and sung by our previous vocalist, but when Miki joined she was asked to rearrange it in her style and rewrite the lyrics in English (and Japanese too) based on her toxic and manipulative relationship that she couldn’t easily escape from many years ago. After Roven (our guitarist) joined us he also took part in revamping this song, and now we are very happy to release this single after so long. We took our time planning the art of this music video with John Razalo again and wanted dancers Kelsey and Maki to portray the relationship that went downhill through contemporary dance. We hope you love this song and MV as much as we do. Look out for the Japanese version in December!”
