This band out of Malaysia, LUST, has been blowing us away ever since we found out about them…today we get to finally hear a full length’s worth of music.
SO. GOOD.
“Tekesima” is a play on the Malay word terkesima – which means to be stunned, by an object or incident that instantly tugs at your attention.
The record tells a story of growth and age – a quick yet foggy plunge into adulthood.
The feeling of shock at the discovery of newfound demands and responsibilities, made more intense within the noise and excess that the Internet brings to the human experience.
In a modern era where self-identity gets increasingly diluted, individuals struggle to be heard. Beneath it all, outcasts who are more apathetic deals with issues of intrusion and disenchantment brought forth by this uncharted progression.
We hope you enjoy this record as much as we loved making it. – LUST”
We will ALWAYS stop whatever we’re doing to support artists who want to continue...
