Who would’ve guessed…in just these few months we’ve had 2 Philippines bands Piledriver and Modern Day Collapse get picked up UK labels Engineer Records and Mark My Words Records, earlier this year Singapore hardcore band Fuse got picked up by UK label Quality Control HQ, Singapore hardcore punk band Sial just got their second full length released by a UK label La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, and now Thai hardcore band Whispers got picked up The Coming Strife Records out of…you guessed it…the UK. Whispers even got featured in The Coming Strife Records’ first issue of their brand new zine.
We think it’s safe to say that on behalf of the Asian hardcore/punk scene, we really want to thank you out there in the UK for being so actively interested, involved, and wanting to support our bands.
Fuck…so ecstatic about all of this!
