The Rebel Riot is more than a political punk band, it’s an active community from Yangon (Myanmar), a loud political statement against social and government injustice.
The Rebel Riot work to expose the harsh living conditions and human rights violations of people in Myanmar. The current military dictatorship in the country forced the Rebel Riot to take a break from making music as before. Part of the Rebel Riot community make an active resistance against military dictatorship and help people (Food Not Bombs, free medical services etc.), some of the crew is in exile.
Wanting to help the Myanmar punks, Abbruch Records together with Tanztee Soundsysteme (Germany) produced with DIY power black and red marble vinyl of the album ‘One Day’ by The Rebel Riot and solidarity T-Shirts with the great rebellious artwork. Solidarity merch was aimed to raise money from sales and support the members of the Rebel Riot financially.
Each of you, who want to support the Rebel Riot and the people resistance force in Myanmar, can do it by purchasing great solidarity merch and donate as much as you want. We ship all over the world.
It’s never late for a revolution!
