Mere weeks after releasing his first explosive single “Ante Metus” and gathering a listenership across various countries, Chaidura pushes out his second single, Insect Kill All.
“Insect Kill All” (a play on the word “Insecure”) is Chaidura’s first attempt in blending Emo-Rap & Hip Hop elements into Goth and Metal music. Under the low baritone rapping flaunts a hypnotic beat with a deafening and shaking synth bass. Insect Kill All also features a passionate anthemic chorus where Chaidura expresses his feelings of “insecurities”.
The song illustrates the internal thoughts of a person who is committing evil and coming to the realisation that he does it because he is insecure. The theme of insects is consistent for this song. Insects are represented through the constant hypnotic drum beat — like how sounds that insects make are done in loops (cicada whistling or a moth flapping its wings). Insects are also illustrated here as something that makes people feel insecure and worrisome, which may lead them to behave badly.
