“This is a Reaction To People’s Attitude to Sexual Harassment” Sludge Act SCAMP Drop Single

Newly formed sludge metal band SCAMP hail from Indonesia who’ve just released their debut single, ‘Getir’, and are not holding anything fucking back. “This is our first single and serves as our introduction to the world. The song is our reaction to the disappointment we feel about people’s attitudes toward sexual harassment. It is an issue that is rife in our scene, especially in the Indonesian metal scene all of this is rarely discussed. As a band, we will start this conversation now,” states the band.

The band was formed in 2021 and features members who bring a lot of musical references to the table. Musically, the sludge-metal band turned to bands like Dystopia, Kylesa, and early Mastodon as inspiration.
