Punk Band CATPUKE Celebrate 6th Anniversary With Straight Fire On New Track [Philippines]

Any band that has the word “feminist” added to its description has our support for life. Check out phenomenal punk band CATPUKE on this fire new single entited ‘Firestarter’ which they released as a way to celebrate their 6th anniversary.

Check out what the band had to say about the track:

“In the span of six years, we’ve experienced so much, both as a band and as individuals. We’ve aged, not just in appearance but also in facing life’s challenges.

Throughout those 6 years, we’ve shed tears, shared laughter, and spent time eating in the studio as much as actually making music. We’ve felt exhaustion, slept, and found comfort in the sound of each other’s voices.

In those six years, we’ve had to shed our skin by learning from each other and the communities we’re a part of.

Most importantly, we shaped our anger through love and passion, to create music and cherish the people and places we’ve come to know as home.

As the fires in our hearts spread through songs and actions, we march forward with torches in hand, ready to set fire to the ground.

6 Years of CATPUKE. A journey of growth, struggle, love, and rage and to even more years ahead.”

RESPECT. We’ll be with you every step of the way.
