Pop Punk Band WinningShot Release Split 7″ on World Domination, Inc. [Korea]

“WinningShot is one of the most exciting pop-punk bands the Korean scene has seen in a long time. With dueling male/female lead vocals, walking bass lines, and big guitar solos, this band has everything you want in a power trio.

After self-releasing 2 albums, WinningShot announced they were joining Korean punk label World Domination, Inc. just under a year ago. This week, they finally released their label debut (co-released with Tiny Dragon Music in the US), a split 7-inch record with Seattle, Washington pop punks Kids On Fire. The split includes 2 songs from each band. WinningShot opens their side of the record with “198” showing a bit of the band’s more aggressive side, while “The Sweetest Pain” is a great pop punk song featuring lead vocals from the band’s bassist Yeowon.

The album is available for digital download through WinningShot’s Bandcamp page. Physical copies of the record can be bought on the WDI webstore (www.wdikorea.com/store) and were printed on random-colored vinyl, so each record is one of a kind.

WinningShot is about to start work on their first full-length album, so keep an eye out for that later this year.”
