Pop Punk Band The Ericsons Release Debut Single – An Ode to The Ramones [Philippines]

Woah! We had no idea this type of pop-punk existed in the Philippines! The vocalist has fully embraced for his The Queers/Screeching Weasel-love! Check out Filipino pop punk band The Ericsons on their debut single entitled ‘I’m Gonna Miss The Date Because Of The Ramones’. The band states that with this track they wanted to pay homage to the legendary American Punk Rock group, The Ramones who, clearly, are a huge influence on the band.

Hell yeah guys! Stoked to hear this! What’s even funnier is that the band photo made us think this was going to be some sort of powerviolence band! hahahaha…
