It’s been a LONG time since we’ve received a submission from a band that is 100% outwardly political and socially conscious. Once upon a time, this was a given. There was a period of time that every punk and hardcore band were involved in socio-politics in some form or another. Nowadays, it’s hard to figure out what stances bands actually have. Struggle develops compliance into resistance, as resistance complies with the historical development of struggle — towards overturning the current social triangle.”
