Malaysian Show Details Announced For Hong Kong Metallic Hardcore Band Dagger – Feb 8

Metallic hardcore band Dagger from Hong Kong have announced full details for the first-ever show in Malaysia! Check out the info in the flyer above and further below.

“A couple of us in Dagger have performed in Malaysia many MANY times before as members of King Ly Chee. Though we’ve had tons of memorable shows – including opening for NOFX where the KL audience was clearly divided with hardcore kids on one side and punk kids on the other, what we’ll never forget is the life-changing experience it was when King Ly Chee first rolled through Malaysia back in January of 2004. The show was stacked featuring Cassandra, Second Combat, Sperm Blast, and Utarid at a venue called Blue Planet right down the street from the Petronas Towers. We were left awe-struck at the musicianship of those bands, and then even more blown away by the passion of every single person in the audience singing along to every word like the bands that night were Minor Threat or Poison The Well! Hahahahaha…To this day thinking back to that night and that experience gives me goosebumps and ever since then Malaysia has always held a special place in my aging heart. To bring Dagger there is exciting as fuck!”

A quick search online and we were able to uncover some classic photos of that night!
