Indonesian Celtic Punk Band Black Rawk Dog Release New Track [Indonesia]

Crazy badass to hear Celtic punk sung in Bahasa! Reminds us of our friends in SMZB – Chinese Celtic punk-inspired band – who sing in Mandarin.

Eight years pursuing Celtic punk, Black Rawk Dog has followed up the release of their EP ‘Suburban’s Folk Stories’ with their first single of 2021. With the release of the new single, they’re letting the world know that they’ll never give up taking out their guitar, banjo, bagpipe, and get up on any stage anywhere ready to sing their hearts out.

The latest track is inspired by Scottish musician Robert Burns and his song Wings in particular. The band states, “The lyrics have some metaphor and the main inspiration is our daily circumstances, which is currently bruised and battered by the pandemic. This new song surely can’t fully represent everyone’s struggles, especially for those who are facing so many problems in this uncertain time. However, we hope this song could be the gasoline to your day that makes it burn and bright like a flaming lantern.” Said Edrea, vocalist of the band.
