India Announces DIRTFEST With Doom/Sludge Metal Act DIRGE Headlining

Stoked to help announce the second edition of a killer Indian concert series called DIRTFEST.

According to the organizers, “DIRTFEST is a series of metal, rock, and alternative music concerts, featuring some of the most electrifying acts from across India! The first edition that happened in January featured a diverse line-up of Metal, Hardcore Punk, and Rock bands – The Riot Peddlers, Kasck, Clad In Shadows, and The Longer Route.”

The second edition of DIRTFEST is set to be held in Pune (India) on April 30 at FREQ Superclub, Koregaon Park.

The full lineup includes:

Dirge (Headlining Act)
Doom/Sludge/Post-Metal from Mumbai formed in 2014 — they’re currently on their album launch tour and will be launching their second full-length album at DIRTFEST 2. The full album is streaming now! 

Kill The King
Thrash Metal band from Pune, formed in 2020.

False Flag
One of Unite Asia’s favorites – hardcore band from Pune/Hyderabad, formed in 2015, with two releases.

Splinter
Old School Thrash Metal band from Kolkata/Pune, all set to release singles from their debut album this month!
