Hong Kong Noise Punk Duo kvyle Announce European Tourdates [Hong Kong]

With the announcement of ‘Ambitious Ambition EU Extravaganza’, the Hong Kong alternative/noise punk duo KVYLE have announced European tour dates (dates in the flyer below). The band hopes to take their unique interpretation of noisy punk rock outside of Hong Kong and into the world, all in support of their recent debut EP “ambition”, released this past February. Supporting math-punk act Octopoulpe on selected dates, the band’s ambitious winter tour will see them perform at various DIY spaces in various European countries, right after their two sold-out shows in Hong Kong in August.

Formed in mid-2020 amongst the pandemic lockdowns, the creative output of Elly (vocalist, bassist) and Underdog (drums) are fuelled by their desire to explore nonconformity – from performance to fashion, from gender to songwriting – all sparked by the recent social unrest experienced in Hong Kong. The band’s chaotic, gritty, and discordant energy have drawn comparisons with Royal Blood, Slaves, and Metz.
