Grindcore band Provokata release mini album [Indonesia]

Provokata, a pseudo-grindcore syndicate from Semarang, Indonesia had loaded their mini album on 4/20. Since releasing their first album “Catatan Dari Sudut Kota” on 2014, and participated on their local scene compilation album “And No One Can prevent This Rage To Born” (Stonedzombies, 2016). And it called “HANTU UTOPIA” released by independent record label Stonedzombies. Hantu Utopia it means is haunted on every constellation and interrupt our un-consciousness world. “The utopia is not just a dream, we’ll never feel okay, never safe, because not all move in the same trajectory. It’s a man’s eternal dream can be very distrubing.”

They named pseudo-grindcore for their genre. It compose inconsiderate of grindcore beats, anxiety of 90’s punk, and combine literature as lyrics as their main criticism. This album such a bunch of restless noise and sinister poets about mysticism and apocalyptic. A literature from Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Nietzsche, and Zarathustra is bloody influential.

This album brings five armed tracks of grindcore, which recorded during 2015-2017 with their second Vocalist, Galang Aji Putra. It also included their second album that released after the vocalist decided to quit on 2017. It connect to their curse, for the eternal is the change it self, “You must be ready to burn your self in your own flame; how could you rise a new if you have not first become ashes?”
