German Post Punk Band ARA LIL YOON Release ‘Taste’ [Germany]
German post punk band ARA LIL YOON have released a new EP entitled ‘Taste’.
The band features Jyoti Sekhawat, of British and of indian origin, on drums having played in a variety of other bands around Berlin.
“The recorded material is a culmination of the songs that we wrote over the past few years, both in Malta and as the current collective in Berlin. A music video has been filmed for the song Taste, which we intend to be our first single. The album as a whole takes inspiration from waltzes, jazz chords, the minor harmonic, Bulgakov, an ex-boss, Joy Division, delay pedals, Kim Deal, disco, and grunge.”
