Emo Band Wellsaid Release New Video Off Recently Released Full Length [Hong Kong]

In November of last year, Hong Kong emo band wellsaid released their second full-length ‘Lurking’. We were able to get an early taste of the record and threw up a review up here.

The band is about to take off for a few dates in Taiwan to continue to promote the full length. In order to celebrate that, they just dropped a brand new video for a track entitled ‘Jehu’.

“‘Jehu’ is probably one of the most angular songs from our new album, I remember being stunned that someone actually knew the lyrics when we played it last December. It felt like Wellsaid was finally being accepted as part of a community and there was nothing more we can ask for from playing music,” states vocalist/guitarist Rocky. In December of last year the band celebrated the release of their record here in Hong Kong and from that show compiled a whole bunch of killer live footage which is used in this video. “The video is directed by Swing Ho (who drums for the great post-rock band, Smoke in Half Note) with footage from Vic Shing at Music Surveillance. Sound from our beloved Wah Gor and a special shout out to Arches, An Id Signal and Zenegeist who were all part of the show.”

Go check out their Taiwan dates HERE.
