Vietnam’s newest Black Metal representative, IMPERATUS have their released debut studio album entitled “At the Mercy of the Wind”.
Heavily influenced by notorious acts like Marduk, Immortal, Dark Funeral… “At the Mercy of the Wind” can be seen as the descendant of a Black Metal movement in the Nordic regions around the 90s, trademarked by a blistering, fast-paced and brutal style of black metal music. Imperatus had put on top of that a variety of influences from Swedish Death Metal, Thrash Metal with the melodies from classical music.
