Asian Metal Legends Rudra Release TENTH Full Lengt ‘Eight Mahavidyas’ [Singapore]

All y’all who’ve jumped on releasing your “best of 2022” lists probably need to go update that shit…because Asian metal legends Rudra have just released their tenth full length and “epic” doesn’t even cover it.

Here’s the full write-up from the label Awakening Records:

“RUDRA, the name of the Indian deity of Destruction; conjures the scene of death and destruction. Just like the deity, RUDRA, the band, was named to symbolize its music’s aggressive character.

Formed in 1992, Asia’s extreme metal legend RUDRA returns with its 10th album “Eight Mahavidyas”, another concept album. This time the album explores eight female characters extending from ancient times till the 18th century who broke stereotypes and ended up being outstanding teachers of wisdom. Each song presents the knowledge of each woman through extreme metal textures.”
