What the…we would never dare doubt the greatness of our dudes in Skychurch, but even we weren’t prepared for how monstrous of a track this is! The band just released a brand new song called Animus that begins with what sounded like Tom Araya being channeled on the vocals. But as you’re wrapping your head around that, the band continues to power through riff after riff on this riff mountain ride of a song and then AGAIN, those insane vocals come back – complete with vocal elements we haven’t heard on previous Skychurch tracks?! The end mosh breakdown as it continues to slow the tempo down?! Forget about it…we literally just picked up our guitar and threw it in the trash. Ain’t nothing topping this.

Good fucking job Skychurch and of course the great Tower Of Doom on the production front.
