Tokyo Visual Kei Band Xavak Release New Music Video [Japan]

Tokyo based Visual-Kei band XAVAK has released its 2nd music video for the song 「虐メ復讐編自由型」ahead of its first full album ‘OMAGATOKI’ that will be available on CD from April 10th.

The band consists of veterans of Tokyo’s Visual-Kei scene led by California-born expat kairu who aims to fuse his Central California Nu-Metal roots with classic Visual-Kei and traditional Japanese influences. The band also states that they’re highly inspired by bands like Korn/Deftones to Japanese artists like Kagrra, and 己龍.

In regards to the song itself, “As with many forms of art saying “this is the exact meaning” cannot always be done. This song was made with that in mind and thus the exact meaning will be interpreted by each person’s viewpoints.”
