Punk Rock Band LIPS! Release Lyric Video [Indonesia]

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Jakarta punk rock quartet, Lips!, has released the latest lyric video for the single Hajar Jahanam off the album Thirsty. Heavy Mental Records out of Australia released the album on CD format.

The band and label worked together on creating the overall aesthetic of the video based on the lyrics of the song:

“There are things/problems that should still be discussed and resolved properly without having to back up to the public through the media or spread the word of mouth so that it harms one of the parties, such as the explanation of the lyrics of the Hajar Jahanam song, which according to me quite relevant to the current conditions in the midst of a pandemic like now it’s good we don’t spread panic and fear that can be detrimental en masse,” said Jaws. “Lips! and the label tried to think of a suitable concept for this lyric video, but in the end we decided that, according to the title, the unique and wild visualization in the presentation was more suitable. Hopefully, after this pandemic ends, we can immediately spread together on the following stages,” he explained.
