Macau Comes In Hard On Debut Album by Metalcore Act CANCER GAME [Macau]

Let’s go Macau! The city may be more famous for their casinos and glorious egg tarts, but Macanese metalcore band CANCER GAME want to change all that. Formed in 2017, the band has finally unleashed their debut album ‘Cloud Grudge’ on the world.

The band states, “This record symbolizes our reflections on the complexity and contradictions of society in recent years. “Cloud” often represents change, gloom, and pressure, while “Grudge” conveys our accumulated feelings of resentment towards these injustices and contradictions.

Compared to our previous work, which often focused on atmospheric feelings, this time we concentrated on balancing the melodies and hard-hitting rhythms to amplify the emotions of our audience. We also experimented with rhythms from 00s, and 10s metalcore, metallic hardcore, blending them with our own melodic style to create this music.”

Shit goes HARD. Those vocals are monstrous.
