Mourning, Thy Truth aims to combine the melodic aspects of Japanese metal, with the rhythmic complexity of Western music, creating a mosaic of sounds unique to Hong Kong. Formed during the coronavirus lockdowns, the band members had plenty of time to reflect on their values of life and personal experiences. During this, they channeled their pent-up anguish, frustration, and hopes, creating a visceral, unique sound, straight from Hong Kong.
