Twenty years in the making, Japanese emotive-rock band Lostage has just dropped a brand new full length, their eighth, and it’s beautiful in every essence of that work. It’s basically a rock record but you hear the hints of some of those mid-90’s emo records especially in the vocal melodies and phrasing.
The vocalist released a really emotional letter online about the album release and the unfortunate timing of it coinciding with the horrible Coronavirus pandemic across the world. He has had to shut down his own record store and doesn’t know if the original record release show for May will go ahead.
Thoughts that many people around the world are grappling with right now…
He says – he just wishes this music can go out to more people to help them through their troubles.
